95:5 Primid Saturated Polyester Resins for 180ºC Cured Powder Coatings
NH6582T is tribo chargerable type of NH6582, saturated carboxyl polyester resin
designed for 95:5 Primid XL 552 powder coating to be cured at 180ºC.
Models with a T indicate powder coatings made with this polyester resin that can be sprayed with a friction gun.
At present, the common powder coating spraying processes include electrostatic spraying and friction gun spraying. Electrostatic spraying is widely used in China because of its low requirements for powder coatings. However, due to the generation of a corona field and the Faraday effect of electrostatic spraying, there will be dead corners on complex workpieces, and some corners are difficult to powder. Although the electrostatic gun has been improved many times now, the Faraday effect can only be reduced, but cannot be avoided.
The friction gun spraying can well solve the problem of powder coating in the dead corners of complex workpieces. The friction gun spraying process has the following advantages:
1. The first powder coating rate is high, the efficiency is improved, and the recycled powder is reduced.
2. Overcome the Faraday effect, especially effective for spraying complex workpieces.
3. Compared with the high-voltage electrostatic gun, the powder on the workpiece is more uniform, and the surface leveling and smoothness of the coating film are better.
4. Comprehensive automatic spraying can be used to reduce labor costs and so on.
