Product Description

Low Curing 94/6 TGIC Polyester Resin with Excellent Frost Resistance
NH3368 is a saturated carboxyl polyester resin for polyester/TGIC powder coating system.
For a long time, the paint has been dissolved and diluted with organic solvents. During the use process, VOC emissions are accompanied, which wastes resources and pollutes the environment. However, powder coatings have no VOC emissions during use and have the well-known 4E (Economy, Energy Saving, Ecology and Efficiency) characteristics.
However, compared with conventional paint, powder coatings have the disadvantages of higher baking curing temperature (generally 180~200°C) and longer baking time. The high baking temperature brings considerable difficulties to the coating of heat-sensitive substrates such as plastics, wood, and solder metal parts, which restricts the expansion of the application range of powder coatings; the baking time is long, the production cycle of the product is long, and the production is low efficient.
The curing temperature of low temperature curing powder coatings is generally 140~160°C. Considering energy saving, cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and expansion of the application scope of powder coatings, the development of low temperature curing powder coatings is of great significance.
The curing time of NH3368 is 160ºC×15~20min, which meets the requirements of low temperature curing. At the same time, by optimizing the polyester formula, the powder coating prepared with this polyester will not precipitate powder-like substances on the surface even after baking and curing at a low temperature for a long time, and has excellent anti-blooming performance, so it will not decrease coating gloss and affects the appearance of the coating.
