Product Description

Durable 95/5 HAA Saturated Polyester Resins for Primid Powder Coatings
NH-6586T is tribo chargerable type version of NH6586, it is a saturated carboxyl polyester resin designed for 95:5 Primid XL 552 powder coating to be cured at 180ºC.
NH-6586T adopts HAA curing system, the full name of HAA is N,N,N',N'-tetrakis (β-hydroxyethyl) adipamide, which contains amine group in the molecule, which leads to the insufficient anti-yellowing performance of the coating surface. The coating film is prone to yellowing at high temperature, so the anti-yellowing coating film of the HAA system is difficult to obtain.
The polyester resin obtained by specific raw materials and specific processes has polyimide segments in its molecular segments, which has excellent high temperature resistance and anti-yellowing properties, and uses raw materials containing phenolic hydroxyl groups such as p-hloroglucinol formic-acid and ethanetricarboxylic acid monoesters participate in the reaction, the polyester segment contains phenolic functional groups with strong anti-yellowing ability, so that polyester products have excellent high temperature resistance and anti-yellowing properties, and finally used in the powder coating of HAA system, the coated surface with excellent anti-yellowing performance can be obtained.
