95/5 Polyester HAA Resin, 180 Degree Cure with Good Anti-yellowing for Primid Powder Coating
NH6582-2 is a saturated carboxyl polyester resin designed for 95:5 Primid XL 552 powder coating to be cured at 180ºC.
Powder coatings are solid powder synthetic resin coatings composed of solid resins, pigments, fillers, and additives. Different from common solvent-based coatings and water-based coatings, its dispersion medium is not solvent and water, but air. It has the characteristics of no solvent pollution, 100% film formation, and low energy consumption. However, powder coatings are prone to pinhole formation compared to liquid coatings, which affects film performance and performance. In order to solve the problem of pinholes, benzoin is used to degas, but while benzoin eliminates pinholes, it is also easy to cause yellowing of the paint film.
While NH6582-2 can solve the above two problems, there will be no pinholes during film formation, and also has good anti-yellowing performance.
