Product Description

Introduction:

This series of products is one kind of thermoset powder coating based on saturated polyester resins and primid/HAA curing agent.

Property:

Feature

--- Good bondability and good mechanical property

--- Smooth coating and high gloss.

--- Good chemical resistance and corrosion resistance.

--- Thick film prone to appear pinholes (120 microns)

---Tend to be yellow if the baking temperature is too high or the baking time is too long.

--- Better storage capability and shelf life than Polyester/TGIC type
 

Density: 1.2~1.8g/cm3( Ingredient and color demand)

Particle Size: Purpose demands, standard granularity is 35-40 um, <10um powder <10%, >100um powder <0.5%.

Storage stability: Polyester/Primid Powder Coatings should be stored below 35°C in a dry and well-ventilated place away from sources of heat, ignition, and direct sunlight. If stored in an air-conditioner room, in order to avoid dampness again, before using the powder, the powder should be kept at room temperature or at the same temperature as the spray equipment. Under such conditions, the powder can be stored stably for 12 months.

An extended, the retest will be required. If the testing result meets the requirement, the powder can still be used.

Note: Polyester / Primid powder coatings have a longer life than polyester / TGIC powder coatings, but Polyester/Primid powder coatings are easier to become damp.

The film property above may decreases slightly while the gloss decreases.
Spraying	This series of products are suitable for the following spraying methods: corona electrostatic spraying, friction electrostatic spraying, electrostatic fluidized bed spraying, fluidized bed thermal spraying, and other spraying methods (For the last 3 methods, please request in advance).
	Film thickness:40~150μm, theoretically 50~80μm. Average coverage: 10~12m2 /Kg, film thickness 60μm (Calculated at the usage rate of 100%)
Curing Guide	180 ºC / 10 mins are suggested, and also 160ºC/15mins, 170 ºC /12 mins, etc can be designed according to the user's needs.

Packing and Transportation :

Cartons with double PP bags. N.W 20(25)kg/carton

Non-dangerous goods. It can be transported in various ways, but it should be away from direct sunlight, moisture, heat, and chemicals.

Health and Safety :

All raw materials of powder coating do not contain toxic substances, also no toxic gases when baking. However, during the use, dust-breathing should be avoided and the operator should wear dust masks and minimize long-term skin contact with the powder coating. The coating adhered to the skin can be washed off with soap.
